Pixel Worlds Lore was added on Easter Update 2019 together with a revamped player's tutorial.
There are multiple elements that makes up the lore. For instance, a hieroglyph, rift portals leading to inaccessible worlds through normal means, puzzles, etc.
The Hieroglyph
The Hieroglyph was first spotted in the revamped player's tutorial, where new players can watch a cutscene of a "soul" floating downwards, revealing the content of the Hieroglyph along with a conversation with 2 unknown characters. However, the Hieroglyph was also spotted in the world 101011011110.
Hieroglyph Text
Apart from the hieroglyph itself, there are 2 hieroglyph texts made out of custom rosetta font placed at the top and bottom of the hieroglyph respectively. These texts are translated into "Remember the Past" and "Regain the Future".
Rift Portal
The Rift Portal was added to the game together with the revamped player's tutorial, Easter Update 2019. The portal spawns randomly in a world, with an unknown spawn rate and spawn location. Whenever it spawns, players that enter the portal lead them to the world 101011011110.
Lore World
Widely known as the rift or lore world, 101011011110. Only 3 players are allowed to enter the world at one time and is only accessible through rift portals. Upon entering the world, each player has a limited time of 30 seconds to explore the world before returning to their previous world. The Hieroglyph and Hieroglyph Text are visible at the center of the world, reminiscent of the ones shown in the tutorial cutscene.
The world is separated into 2 different sides, Light and Dark, with the former occupying the left side of the world and the latter occupying the right side. A
Password Portal can be seen in the left and right room, players can pick up a
Glowing Fragment and
Light Absorbing Fragment from 2 different
Prize Box located beside the room entrance, and 2 statues known as the Light Statue and Dark Statue located at the bottom left and right corner of the world respectively.
When converted from Binary to Hexadecimal, 101011011110 is converted to ADE.
Binaries
These can be seen upon entering the left or right room in 101011011110, players are introduced to 2 rows of server-like props that display binary codes. However, some of the props appear "broken", thus unable to display any binary code.

ADE
In a world that was previously inaccessible, the owner of ADE is "F" but it was never stated anywhere. However, at an unknown date, ADE became accessible to players and the world was similar to a puzzle, where players from the Light and Dark clan factions have to solve the puzzle together to unlock the Cryptic Portal.
The puzzle itself has 4 distinct levels. Each level has a server-like prop that displays different texts similar to the "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe" nursery rhyme. Players can begin solving the puzzle by either entering the
Light Faction Portal or
Dark Faction Portal located beside the Entrance Portal based on their clan faction.
Level 1
| “ | One, Two, only a few... | ” |
Level 1 consists of a waiting room and a parkour course. This level requires players to complete 2 parkour courses to unlock level 2. The 2 parkour courses are faction-specific, so Light clan players can only enter the left-side parkour course whereas Dark clan players can only enter the right-side parkour course. An activated
Electro Sphere is placed at each parkour entrance that deactivates for a short time of every 5 minutes, allowing traceurs to enter the parkour course. The requirement to unlock level 2 is simply completing the parkour and stepping on the
Pressure Pad at the end of each course.
Level 2
| “ | Three, Four, reveal the lore... | ” |
A fairly simple level located below the waiting room that requires a specific pattern to unlock level 3. There are 2
Pressure Pads and 4
Basic Switches for each clan faction. 2 Light and 2 Dark clan players are required to step on the faction
Pressure Pads and the rest of the players have to find the correct pattern of turned on
Basic Switches to open a
Password Portal in the middle of the room that leads to the level 3 room.
Level 3
| “ | Five, Six, knows the tricks... | ” |
The second hardest level of the puzzle is located in the waiting room, level 3 requires 3 players of each clan faction to step on one of the six faction
Pressure Pads based on a specific set. The player must also have a
Flaming Shard in their inventory to successfully light up the faction lamp. However, some sets required out-of-the-ordinary set pieces. For example, instead of equipping the
Nether Blade for the Nether Set, the
Quickdraw Blades of Nether has to be equipped instead. Unlocking level 4 requires all 6 faction lamps (3 light and 3 dark) to be lit up.
| Set Name | Faction | Items that made up the set |
|---|---|---|
| Epic PWR Set | Light | |
| Sup-a-Fly Set | Light | |
| Shogun Set | Light | |
| Frostborn Set | Dark | |
| Nether Set | Dark | |
| Tormentor Set | Dark | |
Level 4
| “ | Seven, Eight, shall open the gate | ” |
With level 4 unlocked, the 2
Wired Metal Trapdoors near the world entrance are permanently opened and the whole of ADE is accessible to all players. However, the level 4 puzzle takes place in a circular room of size 21 blocks by 21 blocks with a Cryptic Portal placed directly in the middle. The room is only accessible to players having level 125 and above.
There are 8 Cryptic Blocks containing a rosetta letter; 4 Light and 4 Dark, and each block can be punched to change the rosetta letter. A
Pressure Pad is placed on each Cryptic Block and either a Light or Dark Ceiling Lamp is placed below the block depending on the block faction. The lamp can only be lit up by faction-specific players who have entered the rift before. For example, a Light clan player who has not entered a rift will not light up the lamp upon standing on the
Pressure Pad. This applies to Dark Clan players as well.
It has been figured out that to complete the level, the letters on the Cryptic Blocks have to form the word "TOGETHER" in a particular order, all 8 Ceiling Lamps are lit up and the
Stone Buttons are all clicked.
Cryptic Portal
The Cryptic Portal was permanently unlocked when the level 4 puzzle was completed by players. Although unlocked, the portal opens every 14 hours on the 53rd minute of the hour. The number of hours left before the portal opens is dictated by the number of unlit
Scifi Lights. When opened, the portal closes after a short period of time or when 3 players have successfully entered the portal. Entering the portal brings the player to the rift, thus the Cryptic Portal is a more accessible version than the Rift Portal.
Monolith and Sliding Puzzle
Nearly 2 years since the developers brought the lore into the game, a 3x3 sliding puzzle was brought into the game along with Light and Dark monoliths during St. Patrick's 2021 Update. Similar to the Fossil Puzzle, the puzzle can be accessed by either right-clicking (for PC) or holding (for mobile) a
Cryptic Mechanical Box in a player's inventory and click the "Restore" button. Upon clicking, a puzzle window will appear and players will have 60 seconds to solve the puzzle. Completing the puzzle grants players with 1 part of either a Light or Dark monolith.

SAECULUM
With the hints given by EndlesS (Graphical Artist of the game); some new lore hints were found.
Milk can be obtained the same way as how
Flaming Shards are obtained (random chance of appearance in the Netherworld). Consuming
Milk while sleeping on a
Bed with
Night Orb in the world and waiting for about 30 seconds will warp you to a world named SAECULUM.
